Garden for Entertaining

Outdoor furniture with weatherproof cushions positioned with views down the garden

Line, balance, simplicity

Our clients’ had extensively refurbished this property in Walton-on-Thames and wished to extend this clean, modern design ethos into the garden, while also respecting the materiality of the building exterior.  We achieved this through simplicity of material choice including clay brick pavers and natural sawn sandstone, and clean lines that take their cue from the architecture.  Raising the pool and making it a feature, solved an issue of level change across the site and helps draw the eye down the garden.  Individual garden rooms are delineated by material choice and features such as a modern steel pergola with adjustable louvers for weather proof dining.
