Practicality and beauty

This house was built on such a steep slope that much of the garden was rendered unusable except for a small area outside the conservatory. Utilising features such as brick retaining walls and reclaimed granite kerbs for steps, we opened up and made accessible all areas of the property.

Planting was chosen to be lush and green with a restricted flower palette of lavender, blues and white. Geranium Rozanne, Anemone Honerine Jobert and Hydrangea arborescens Annabelle are particularly happy in this garden.
